Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Poko Plan at app.pokoplan.com and the related website at pokoplan.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
Poko Plan is a personal finance tool for tracking accounts, transactions, budgets, and related insights. Optional features include AI chat assistance and WhatsApp-based expense capture. The product is provided as-is for personal money organization.
Not financial advice
Poko Plan—including any AI companion replies, analytics, or suggestions—is for informational and bookkeeping convenience only. It is not tax, legal, investment, or professional financial advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make with your money and for verifying figures that matter for taxes, loans, or compliance.
Accounts
- You must provide a valid email and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account, including WhatsApp messages sent from a number you link.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or violate these Terms.
Your content
You retain ownership of the ledger data and files you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate Poko Plan (including backups, sync, AI parsing you invoke, and attachment storage you enable).
AI and WhatsApp features
- AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Always review suggested or auto-logged transactions before relying on them.
- WhatsApp capture depends on Meta’s platform availability and your linked number. Voice notes and receipt photos are subject to size and duration limits described in the app.
- We may enforce rate limits to protect the service and control provider costs.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful activity or to harm others.
- Attempt unauthorized access, scrape in abusive ways, or reverse engineer the service except where allowed by law.
- Upload malware or content you do not have the right to share.
Availability and changes
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and beta or experimental tools may be modified or removed. We may update these Terms; continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poko Plan and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD $50, if the service is free to you.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
